YAY Sister Steps Walk is tomorrow!!! I am so excited to see family and friends--the only thing missing is you? Have you registered yet? Creating a walk has been exciting, exhausting and enlivening. When I set out on this journey I had three goals: Raise money for a much deserved cause-- Granulosa Cell Tumour Foundation New Zealand, make a difference in the lives of people, and raise awareness for all types of ovarian cancer. If nothing else--this could save your life or the life of somebody you love. Major symptoms of ovarian cancer: bloating, trouble eating or feeling full quickly, pelvic or abdominal pain, feeling the need to urinate frequently. If you have these symptoms--(sure they could be so many things!) but go get checked out. Prognosis is generally much better when caught early!
