Its dark, but differently dark and a definite step up once again, utilizing new approaches to production. Its also impossible and wrong to forget your roots. Phoenix (and its upcoming EP) and Polaroid utilize a full-blown band sound with layered electronics. This is where we originally come from, the guitar world.
