YESTERDAY I met some young men where I went to do some job and they were making fun at University and people going to school. I was stunned. One was an overtly religious Igbira boy and the other was a yoruba boy, both in their mid-twenties. One said, Whats the point of going to school when you cant get a job after school? I told him he can still do the design thing and be in school. The guy who designs NEWISSUES went to the University and he didnt study Mass Communication or designing magazines with computers. The self opionionated young man kept condemning school and enjoying the brief argument. Anyway, I left him there. My advise to young people is to try and go to school. Go to school if and when you have the chance. School is beyond reading books. It is about the friends you make. It is about the experience you will share with them and the progress you will make with them. School makes you the leaders of your nation. -George Onmonya Daniel
