YIPPIEEE!!! It is that time of year again; back by popular demand. Grandpas Egg Nog 6 eggs 1 pint whipping cream 1 cup sugar 1 pint milk 1/2 cup white rum 1/2 cup bourbon Separate eggs, add 1/2 the sugar to each (whites & 1/2 to yolks). Beat the whites until stiff. Remember that when beating the whites, the beaters & bowl must be squeaky clean or they wont fluff. Next beat the yolks until frothy & lemony looking. Beat whipping cream until it hold peaks. In a punch bowl put the bean egg yolks, whipped cream and stiffly beaten egg whites, fold in the milk and liquor, if you are loading the nog. Top with a grating of fresh nutmeg. This recipe can be multiplied easily & the load can be served on the side or not at all. If you make Grandpas egg nog, take a picture and share it on our EMS page!!!
