The church is located at 6832 Southfield Road, Detroit MI 48228. Speaker’s Biography: A native of Detroit, Michigan, John W. Cromer, Jr. is the 6th child of 14 children, a proud father/grandfather of a daughter and grandchild. John is a former inmate who served 13+ years in prison for shoplifting-retail fraud – (a pair of gym shoes and set of bed sheets). He is out - and - got himself together! He is President and Chief Executive Officer for LolaMax Management LLC and founder of the Detroit I.M.P.A.C.T.S. Mentoring Program- an all-male (14 to 26) peer to peer mentoring program. Through this program, John created the annual Detroit I.M.P.A.C.T.S. Youth Summer Rally to provide free school uniforms, back packs and school supplies to children of low income families, as well as the “TMI” Toys Making I.M.P.A.C.T.S. Program that provides free Christmas gifts for children of low income families. I.M.P.A.C.T.S. stands for: “Intelligent, Motivated, Positive Attitudes Changing The Statistics.” John is a former Senior Corporate Job Developer for “Michigan Works! Affiliates”, and a former Stability Case Manager for President Barack Obama’s (HPRP) Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program through Neighborhood Legal Services Michigan in Detroit. Without a job, how else are we to take care of our families and pursue the American Dream? How do we expect people with criminal records to stay out of trouble without a job?” Quote from John Cromer “I am a present, and I am going to wrap myself like a present to be presented to an employer or an opportunity! Even Superman had enough sense to realize that he had to change his clothes to be recognized for he is. He ran into someone’s a phone booth to change!” Quote for John Cromer Please subscribe to my youtube: https://youtube/user/JohnWesleyCromer
