YOU ARE NOT AN OUTCAST It is very sad and unfortunate that most people still subscribe to some stupid superstitious beliefs founded on lies and idolatry. You may happen to be one of those people that are regarded as outcasts (osu) in your town. You grew up to discover that people from ‘legitimate’ families avoid any serious relationship or contact with you and your family. They don’t inter-marry with your people. You are regarded as someone who is from an abominable family. They call you an outcast. You are avoided in every place including the church. If you are among those that people have labelled osu or you know someone that is regarded as an outcast, can I have your one minute time? I want to speak to you personally. Listen to me, there is nothing that will make me in this life to believe that you are an outcast. There is nothing that will make God to ever regard you as an outcast. The truth of the matter is that you are not an outcast. Let me repeat it again, you are not an outcast. I don’t care what the popular opinion is. I don’t want to know what the culture and tradition of your town say. What matters is what God has spoken concerning you. He says you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. No more, no less. You must not go back to darkness again. He has called you out of it. Now, live and journey in His wonderful light. Today, I pray for you that the Almighty God who never slumbers nor sleeps will strengthen you and keep you going in this journey of life. Those who have written you off will become the same people God will use to testify of His goodness in your life. It doesnt matter what you are going through or what your current situation is, because I know that all things will work together for your good. Anywhere you have suffered loss in your life, the Lord will restore a hundred fold. Be blessed today in the name of Jesus Christ.
