YOU CAN HAVE PEACE WITH GOD Peace is something that everyone everywhere wants. They look for it in many things but never find it because it is not in things it is in a person - Jesus. When He was born, angels announced PEACE ON EARTH AND GOOD WILL TO ALL PEOPLE (Luke 2:14). His mission was to bring peace - peace between man and God. Harmony with God is the only thing that can bring everything in a persons life to perfect alignment with Gods perfect will. Unless a man has peace with God, a lot of good things will be missing and broken from and in his life. It is only peace with God that can dispel the turmoil and assuage the conflict that prevails in the human spirit that is out of tune with its Creator. When peace with God is realized, peace with men and the world is automatic. Wars, divorce, violence, brutality, hatred, abuse and all manner of evil are all due to the lack of peace with God. Disease, tension, emotional conflict, bitterness, shame, physical deterioration and suffering are rooted in peoples lack of peace with God. When a man has no peace with God, he cannot have peace with himself and with others, inner and outer conflicts are the order of the day. Unless a man is sin-free, he cannot have peace. There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked. (Isaiah 48:22; 57:21). Glory to God! Jesus took away our sins and our sinful nature (Romans 5:16). God ...made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21). He exonerated us. The punishment for our peace was laid upon Him (Isaiah 53:5). He made peace through the blood of the cross (Colossians 1:19-20, 22). He is our peace (Ephesians 2:13-16). This is good news - the Gospel of peace (Romans 10:15): anyone who has faith in what He did for us, can have peace with God. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1) Receive peace; receive Jesus right now. 1. Believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, 2. open your mouth and confess that He is now the Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). These are the two steps to peace. Take them now.
