YOU CAN SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY WITHOUT A TITLE Many times, I hear people say, I want to support my community. I should run for a title. While having a title can be beneficial, many people are doing wonderful things without one. Scottie Tidwell, was 1st Runner Up for Mr. San Diego Leather 2012. Even without the title, Scottie has been instrumental in creating some revolutionary events in San Diego. Last year, Scottie was the visionary behind flying the leather pride flag during ROMP Weekend (San Diegos Leather Pride Weekend). This year, Scottie is producing a vendor market and street fair to culminate ROMP Weekend. Please join Scottie on Thursday as he and other community member unfurl the leather pride flag for the weekend. On Sunday, come shop with some of Southern Californias biggest vendors and enjoy socializing with San Diegos leather community and out of town visitors. Scottie is a prime example of someone without the distinction of a title that is still out getting shit done! Thank you, Scottie for all you do for San Diego.
