YOU CANNOT HELP SAVE YOURSELF FROM SIN: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 2.8-9 | But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Rom 4.5 | But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Isa 64.6 | If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain? Job 9.29 | Your good works are in vain, and they are only “good” in YOUR eyes. In Gods holy sight, you are a Hopeless and LOST sinner, and your good works are totally unacceptable. If you are counting on your “own righteousness” (religion, good works, baptism, church membership, prayers) to save you, then you are deceived and on your way to HELL. For they being ignorant of Gods righteousness [Faith in Christ’s blood], and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. Rom 10.3
