YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN OREGON TO VOTE IN THIS POLL: Some amazing folks have worked tirelessly to change a bills title to reflect its contents accurately, and some folks dont like this. Please go to the Oregonian poll (for some reason legislators pay attention to these) and let em know changing it to be accurate is a good thing! See below for more info. Old title: “Provides Oregon resident ‘driver card’ without requiring proof of legal presence in the United States” -- doesn’t reflect the goal of making sure all drivers are insured and licensed for improving public safety. New title: “Establishes limited purpose, duration driver card for individuals who prove Oregon residency, meet driving requirements.”
