But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads.~ Albert Camus ;)~ Just a day....Have you ever had one of those days that didnt seem like it was anything special, but in the end, when you looked back at it, it was just absolutely fabulous because of how you felt afterwards? For me, I think, maybe, I had one of those days...I mean...I certainly feel my SOUL SINGING for some reason...so it must have been good...right? I have to believe that it started out right, with laughter and love in the house, and an excitement for the day to come...again. But today I think the adventure of my first real snow day here in Anchorage had a lot to do with my silliness, and the feeling of belonging I was needing again. Im telling you...It snowed...and I actually liked it...How crazy is that? Anchorage weather is a pretty freaky thing to experience, thats for sure. Snow, no real wind to speak of, then rain, then calm sunny skies for about 20 minutes, then clouds roll in and it gets dark at 4pm....real dark. Its an adventure just waiting for the bus, which coincidently I rode home for the first time in awhile tonight. But it all just felt good...even though it was kind of...well....just normal for me lately...You work, pay bills afterwards, go to Walmart for stuff, and come home...and you know what? I like that just fine these days.... So my little (and short) story tonight I guess is just about loving my everyday life, and the people who share it with me each day...I am so happy to be feeling more and more at home here in Anchorage, and in Alaska I cant tell you enough....and just think....Spring is only 5 more months away....at this rate...Im thinking to myself....Who needs it? I got all this fun, free, and fabulous stuff to do now....so lets play....shall we...and more importantly....
