YOUNG MINISTERS PART 2....! From the previous post weve been able to discovered that to have effective and impactful ministry as a young men and women doing ministry for God we must place our value on God and His kingdom, value knowledge, building godly and profitable relationships, pursue impact and stay in your calling.However, there are other things we are expected to do to boost and activate the impact and the exploit of the ministry God has commissioned into our hands so that at the end of the day we shall receive well done my faithful servant from God who has called us to be a minister. Get training: Whatever we are doing for God training is the vital tool that boost the effect and the impact of the ministry given to us.As a minister we need to go through two trainings to have profitable ministry in life and destiny which is formal training that is the training gotten through education while informal training is a training gotten through impactation(Mentor and protege relationship). To avoid disasters and unnecessary mistakes in ministry as a young ministers the place of training cannot be overlooked and over emphazised,we must receive it with an humble heart because the purpose of training is to transform our character and make us fit to fulfil our God-given ministry. Be equipped with Gods power: The impact of our God-given ministry has it root in Gods power to liberate Gods people from their problems and circumstances.Creating quality time to wait on God for His power in prayer and fasting and loading ourselves with Gods word becomes necessary thing to do before stepping out to do ministry because Gods work cannot be done with an arm of flesh but can only be done by His power and Spirit. Use your gift: We are gifted to impact people for God in our ministry, taking personal responsibility to discover,develop and deploy our God given gifts to do effective ministry becomes essential thing to do, there are areas weve been gifted to function in ministry failure to discover and start functioning in it will culminate frustrations and struggles continue. Build strong prayer and Bible study life: Ministry cannot go along way without the application of prayer and ministry of the WORD.A praying minister is an impacting minister and a worded minister is a world transforming minister, building effective prayer life positioned us to be a strong minister and studying and applying Gods word daily positioned us for righteous and holy living to have an effective and productive ministry. Friends,it is time to apply all these principles and by so doing the impact of our God-given ministry becomes unstoppable. Happy weekend to you ALL!!!
