YOUR CHOICE IS YOUR CHOICE “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” (Deuteronomy 30:19) Think twice before you take decisions today because your future depends largely on those decisions you take. Your present position and condition is the outcome of the decisions you took yesterday. Here then is good advice: watch carefully the choices you make every day. As a matter of policy, choose life instead of death, blessing not cursing, good in place of bad, and success instead of failure. You may not have noticed this but actually you are constantly taking decisions and making choices every time. Nothing happens by chance in your life without your approval. You are the product of your choices. No man can achieve success in life who has not chosen to be an achiever. However, making the right choices is not an end in itself. After you have made the right choice you must see it through. When you choose success, you must work for it. It is those who choose failure that need not work for failure is like riding a bicycle downhill. There is nothing much to do. On the other hand, success is like climbing a hill. You must work for that! If success is your choice in life, you must work and begin now. And if you persevere enough, you will discover that the journey is worth the labor. Challenge: Decisions determine destiny. Prayer: See me through to a successful end, Oh God, as I choose success in life.
