YOU’RE GOING HERE TOMORROW. “FREE” LIVE MUSIC EXTRAVANGANZA IN KINGS CROSS. There’s a number of music gigs out there to distract you this season. Take this one, for example. Its purpose: to deliver an afternoon of unbelievable live music from over 40 Australian artists performing in venues along the iconic strip. Add The X Studio (leading the charge) with all your favourite KX venues like Goldfish, Barrio Chino, Crane Bar, Kings Cross Hotel, Kit & Kaboodle, Sugarmill Hotel, New Hampton, The Bourbon, World Bar, Uliveto and, that’ll do it. On Sunday, 23 November, five-time ARIA nominee, Gossling will give an exclusive acoustic performance in Kings Cross as part of the KINGS CROSS IGNITE lineup. Joined by the following artists: KLP, M-Phazes, The Potbelleez, Reigan Derry, Sun Rai, Milan, Microwave Jenny, Odette, Nate Flagrant, Playwrite, Darryl Beaton, Doug Williams, Emma Birdsall, Hannah Robinson, Jeff Duff, Jonathan Zwartz, Leah Flanagan, Martha Marlow, Craig Calhoun, TIAAN, Morgan Evans, Hydraulix, Jonathan Zwartz Quartet, Darryl Beaton Band, Leroy Lee, Steve Barry Trio, Stu Hunter Trio ft Simon Barker, Martinez Akustica, C Major, Sensitive Zombie, Michael Duchesne, Thandiwe Phoenix, Levi 5 Star feat. Amy Chase, La Fiesta Sound System and DJ Ocky & Mark Matthews. KINGS CROSS IGNITE is gearing up to be one of the most exciting live music events taking place during ARIA week. The Kings Cross community has joined forces with the Live Music Office, City of Sydney and APRA AMCOS to host this musical extravaganza, lead and sponsored by brand spanking new venue, The X Studio. Spinning on the decks at the X Studio, the DJ line-up for the afternoon includes, GG Magree, Tikki Tembo, Shantan Wantan Ichiban, Dolso and Nes. These artists join already announced acts: KLP, M-Phazes, The Potbelleez, Reigan, Sun Rai (Rai Thistlethwayte), Milan, Microwave Jenny, Odette, Nate Flagrant, Playwrite, Doug Williams, Emma Birdsall, Hannah Robinson, Jeff Duff, Leah Flanagan, Martha Marlow and Craig Calhoun.
