YTD Robberies are down 6% compared to last year. Last week in Pacific there were 9 robberies. None of these robberies appeared to be connected, but thanks to a brave citizen one suspect was arrested. On Oct 30th a victim had her purse stolen near the area of Overland and Washington. The suspect was so brazen that he did not try very hard to get away. As the suspect went through the victims purse she screamed for help, and a brave citizen came to her rescue. The citizen hero detained the suspect until police arrived and the victim was able to get the contents of her purse back.
