Graham arrogantly opposes the Vitter effort to stop Obama Care Lindsey Graham is joining other elite establishment Senators in opposing Senator David Vitter’s amendment, which would end taxpayer Obama Care exchange subsidies for elected officials and their staff members. “Lindsey Graham just said, for the record, that his staff is more important than you are” says state Senator Lee Bright, the leading challenger to Graham for the U.S. Senate in 2014. “I’ve known that he was isolated from reality for a long time, but I have to admit, he has gone over to the dark side even further than I thought. There is no excuse not to join Ted Cruz in defunding Obama Care, but of all excuses, this is the worst.” Bright spokesman Edmund Wright was even harsher. “Lindsey Graham now officially, totally, and without a doubt, deserves the scorn of every South Carolina voter, and every liberty loving American anywhere else. Frankly, I am thrilled that this big spending government pig has removed his own lipstick.” Wright added that “Lee Bright has been courageous enough to counter the conventional wisdom that government should be run like a business. When you assess how the GOP establishment officials are defending the indefensible – that they are employers like anyone else – the brilliance of Lee’s comments really hit home. “ Bright has said in the past that “consultants love the line that government should be run like a business, but businesses need to continue to grow to survive, and in that way, government should absolutely not be run like a business. Unfortunately, too many people, including Lindsey Graham, don’t understand that. “ Wright added that “these staffers are talking about the threat of a brain drain if they are forced to leave. I say what America needs more than anything else is for Washington to be drained of the current brains. That includes Graham, his staff, his consultants, his lobbyist contributors, and every other member of his anti liberty cabal.”
