Ya ever see that meme that gets passed around about the Libertarian Park Bench, where you have to put in a quarter in the machine to remove spikes so you can comfortably sit on it? That bench was an art project created by an anti-capitalist German artist named Fabian Brunsing (treehugger/eco-friendly-furniture/pay-sit-park-bench-is-a-libertarian-dream.html). Now... Not once has a libertarian or a private market come up with such an idea. Central Park in NYC is a privately run park, and it is filled with numerous non-spikey benches that are excellent for sitting. The government, by contrast, does create spikey benches. Funny how anti-capitalist/anti-libertarian folks have to resort to completely making up stories about libertarians to argue against them, whereas libertarians only have to point out true facts about the real actions of the state.
