Ya know; I get that all these environmental issues are important to so many ppl, not just the Indigenous of this land. But posting a picture of famous ppl in support of does not cut it. There are many fires lit across canada and united states in support of by many nations who can not make the trip to stand side beside the protectors of this land. If the issue is that important to you, step back and show the world that it does mean that much to you. Take that crudely written sign and go and stand with those ppl who are cold, wet and tired. Dont stand 3,000 miles away in warm weather, smile and hold up a sign. I finally saw some pictures posted of non-native looking ppl with protest signs. Finally. For this is not a NATIVE ISSUE! This is a health issue, quality of living issue, not just for reservation life but those who live where the ground water reaches. The money makers live high in white towers and do not know what it is like to turn on their water for a shower, let alone a drink of water, to only find foul smelling or discolored water. Bring them a gallon of this water and ask them if they will bathe in it or drink it. Offer the armed men on the line to drink the water. We ran out of bottled water and had to get this water from a local well; located within the fracking area. See how long they will stand in support of the great white power who told them to protect his money maker. Sorry got off track, there. But I do not want to change it, for it kinda does go together....
