Ya know recently I had someone tell me that I was pathetic for being a stay at home mom. She called me lazy and said that it was bullshit. Just curious to know what other peoples thoughts were about this. Yes, I stay at home with my daughters. No, I dont have a job to go to every day. We dont have a double income household. Life isnt easy. We are doing the best that we can though. I would love to go back to work. But, I never finished college and got my degree. I dont have a certificate or license in a skilled trade. My real estate license has been lapsed for about ten years now. Ive been a bartender for the past ten years. I dont want to do that anymore. And they arent just handing out jobs and free day care on every corner. Not to mention, Im in a city where I have zero family close by. No friends either. Just me, Richard, and the girls. I dont have a lot of options, ya know. But, raising a family and being a wife is harder than you think. I am mentally and physically exhausted, every day. 24/7. And still, I am forever and always grateful. I cherish every moment spent with my family. Especially my baby. Watching her grow every day has been the absolute highlight of my life. I dont think theres anything pathetic about that at all.
