Yakub Aliyu wrote this truism Its all setting the stage to declare that Nigeria is at war, and therefore, postpone 2015 presidential election. When they declared ceasefire it is a clever way of saying we are fighting a war, when indeed, many parts of Nigeria are under the flag of the insurgents, when the national mood was to crush the insurgents, David Mark, the Senate President is allegedly already on board, meaning had bought the idea. Recall that he had earlier hinted that that we are at war, (dailytrust.ng/.../34650-boko-haram-crisis...) even though there was no official indication of Nigeria being at war from the President or the Defence headquarters. They are even proposing presenting a war budget to the National Assembly but their problem is Tambuwal and the House of Representatives. Reliable sources say they are working on stoking fire in one or two of the South Western-States to seal the sinister plan. This crisis of Boko Haram that have for years engulfed the North East is not just about incompetence, vileness or corruption of the Jonathan government. It is part of a grand agenda. The postponement of the 2015 election and illegal and unconstitutional elongation of the Jonathan regime being the immediate part of the agenda to be executed. The earlier we are awake to this destructive agenda by Jonathan just to cling to political power, the better. As we can see nobody is talking. Its quite every where. No statement from Olukuolade, Omeri, Abati, etc. Compare this with the frenzy of talks by every conceivable official, including the private secretary of Jonathan when the ceasefire scam was afoot. No. For them let every body die, as long as Jonathan can achieve his goal of staying beyond 2015, so be it. When a country is governed from the criminal mindset of ex-militants this is what you get. Again with all these preoccupying the minds of the citizens, where do we get the energy to keep a watch on the billions of oil money being daily stolen, while state governments cannot even have what is due to them and are helpless. Nigerians must shine their eyes and brace up for a long haul of shenanigan. And that is sad. dailytrust.ng/daily/top-stories/34650-boko-haram-crisis-2015-elections-not-on-the-table-mark
