Yall... I have not seen Chase Allen in more than 20 years... We have kept up via social media and via mutual friends and the grapevine. I love that Chase is following his heart and passion. It is rather neat that he is married to a high school Spanish teacher. I happen to know I admire his music taste. So when this bighearted fellow told me he was wanting to donate to the Holmes Team if he won this contest, I was humbled by his generosity. So, now this is crazy...Chase contacted me to see if we were by chance going to Leaf Festival this fall. Holmes and I are going...it has been on our calendar. Every child needs a good camping music festival with their mom, right? So now, we will get to spend some QT with this generous, talented couple during the festival. Even more of a coincidence is that Chase will find out if he wins the American Made Competition on Friday, oct. 17th...and we will be together for the first time in many, many moons. How bout them apples?!?! Keep on voting good people!
