Yall may have noticed that we have increased our pleas for donations and its been because 1. We can not take in any more horses until some of our vet expenses are paid off. 2. The Kapipal and our goal to raise $5,000 is just to cover our vet bills, we still have feed, shavings and farrier bills that keep piling up. 3. The biggest reason is that Laurie Lukas has joined our team to help us with marketing and fundraising and keeping up with the posts on Facebook!!! Its hard work caring for almost 40 horses leaving little time for the business side of rescue but it is crucial to maintain a successful organization. Thanks to Laurie for taking this part over for us and doing an AMAZING JOB!!!! Since our recent pleas for donations, I want to thank everyone who has generously donated through Kapipal, paypal or through the mail: Jo Ann Hupperich, Pamela Mitchell, Carrie Todd, Tara Robinson, Linda Thames, Michele Cook, Khristian George, Tom Brown, Pattie Carder, Paula Pearson, Olivers familiy the Mincklers, Pam in CO, Jo Ann, Claudia Stafford, Peg Wahrendorff, Lori Hatcher, Ayn Reed, Nora, Linda and Tara. Many of you are long time donors and we appreciate you more than youll ever know and we are very grateful to have new supporters and hope you will come by for a visit, either at 12 Oaks or Muleshoe Ranch to see first hand the hard work that is put into caring for the abused and abandoned horses that find their way to our facilities. Our horses are lucky to have so many people care about them allowing us to give them a second chance at life. Thank you.
