Yashy shares: I currently live in Howard County MD. In numerous occasions I have asked to have my sons IEP changed to reflect his autism diagnosis (currently he is labled as developmentally delayed). They have told me it wouldnt change anything, not the resources hes entitled to, nothing. They also keep telling me I need another meeting even though Ive asked prior to an iep meeting. I have disagreed with changes theyve made but I just get ignored. How do I fight for him? Im a single mom and cant afford a lawyer.
