Yasmeen demands withdrawal of troops from IOK Srinagar, August 29: In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Khawateen Markaz has demanded withdrawal of Indian forces, repeal of the black laws, Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and Public Safety Act (PSA) from the territory. JKMKM Chairperson, Yasmeen Raja at a party meeting in Srinagar said that India was not sincere in peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute. She appealed to the world human rights organisations to take serious notice of the rights violations committed by Indian police and paramilitary forces in Kashmir. She said New Delhi and its authorities in the territory were trying to hoodwink the international community by maintaining peace on gunpoint in Kashmir. She also urged party workers to forge unity among their ranks so that the liberation movement could be taken to its logical conclusion.
