Yayyiee I love doing this each time. Thank you Aditya Gadgil for the book bucket challenge. Books have come to my aid just when I need them the most. Here is a list of some of my favourites that I truly cherish and keep close to my heart. 1) Anything and everything by Enid Blyton (as a kid they opened my world to reading) 2) Losing my Virginity- Richard Bransons autobiography (it is so damn inspiring and motivating) 3) A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle (a beautiful perspective on ego and its journey for an individual) 4) Many Lives, Many Masters by Dr. Brian Weiss and all the others that followed ( they take you to the mysterious world of past life regression and all underlying possibilities) 5) Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (dont go by the name, this one is an unexpected gem) 6) Soloing by Harriet Rubin (the perfect guide for all soloists and other entrepreneurs across the globe) 7) The Lost Recipe for Happiness by Barbara O Neal (a travelogue, a food guide, a story to behold; my beloved find in McLeodganj) 8) Dancing with Kali by Lalita Das (a book that I got my hands on in Rishiskesh and which took me to the uncharted territories in the hidden lands of Goa) 9) The Pregnant King by Devdutt Pattnaik ( a wonderful take on the imaginary possibility of role reversal for real; it is some serious food for thought) 10) The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon (a book that got into the mind of an autistic child to unravel the way it functions; love the honesty, depth and simplicity of it all. It triggered me to work in the field of autism to create something useful for these children.) I would want to keep going on but these are the top-of-my-head books for now. I would now like to nominate the amazingly awesome author Madhuri Banerjee for her inputs. I would also like to give a shout out to Apeksha Bhateja, Prachi Gupta, Nikita Sharma, Vishal Poria, Purva Sharma, Deshansh Arora, Vipul Taneja, Ranjini Banerjee, Arjan Singh and Pankaj Mullick to list out 10 of their favourites.
