Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe has been going since 1851. John Dickinson Originally had a pork Pie Business at Burton End, near the railway. In 1851 he rented the shop on Nottingham Street and in 1886 he took on Joseph Morris as an apprentice. In time Morris became like a son to Dickinson and so in 1901 the pair go into partnership and the shop become Dickinson and Morris. Struggling to find any old photos of the shop at the moment, if anyone else can find some please feel free to post them on the wall :)
