Yea I have a fatal genetic disease that will ultimately kill me and I am aware of that! I have watched the people I love slowly die from it and still watching my sister go trough it as well which is SO hard! But if I can say something about my brother Daniel when he was at the end stages of it was that he was ALWAYS happy and he always had a smile on his face regardless of his fate! His smile could light up any room and warm the ugliest of hearts! Thats the way I want to leave! Happy and not hurting! I guess its a good thing that HD affects the brain so those who have it arent in pain or really knowing what is happening! Thats why you see alot of these people with HD and you see them not affected negatively and having a good time! I guess its all the beginning when you first get the test results when you are all there and not affected quiet yet! That is the worst part! Feeling alone, watching your so called friends run away and leave and guys run away not wanting to deal with that! Which I dont blame them not at all! I had to live my whole life with someone I love having it as it doesnt just effect the person with the disease but the whole family! I was really scared and I didnt know how to react when I was given the news that I finally had it. I felt alone and like nobody cared! Now I have SO many supports and I always have my brother Daniel and his amazingly beautiful smile and his strong willed but very tender heart of gold and I am not scared of dying anymore! I know it is going to happen at some point for everyone and sometime too early! With my amazing friends and family here of in heaven. You have all been a big reason why I have come to terms with it all and not being so scared/alone! I am now living my life with my close real friends and having some much needed cherished family time! I am ready god whenever it is my time. I know I have some strong friends and family whom will be just fine without me! Either way I am going out all SMILES! :D
