Yea, I read the comments. I could give two shits. Some people are just plain ugly inside and to me...God is the only one that sits in judgement of me...so I dont take offense to simple minds. They are just that...simple minds. People question how I can steal his innocence by allowing the kiss to happen. First and foremost, his innocence was stolen the day we found out he was going to die. Secondly, he stole the kiss. I didnt see it coming and honestly, I dont know that I wouldve stopped it even had Id known he intended to. If all you took from his incredible journey was the fact that he stole a french kiss from a woman, then I would venture to say that you are the sick one; so jaded by your miserable life that you cant see the valiant fight my son gave against a life being stolen from him before his very eyes. He led an extraordinary life and faced it like a man...even though it was a boys body being ravaged by cancer. To the people that did take the time to read the story and understand his journey, thank you for your loving support and kind words. It is comforting knowing that there are still compassionate people left in this dysfunctional world full of bitterness and self-righteousness.
