Yeah so this is probably shitty compared to other things people have wrote; But i was inspired by a 7 and 13 year old and i wrote a poem/ song about them. Yeah. Poems are my shit call me emily dickinson😂😂😂 loljk I was in vandergrift I met a 7 year old who self harmed She showed me scars on her wrist. She said her dad always got pissed He would hit her and yell And that made me mad as hell So I stayed and talked to her Then my friends yelled I told them hey Go away I got a something to say So I got on my knees I told her thats only yesterday Today is new Its a new start Theres no need to be so tart I gave her advice The best I could give I said girl you deserve to live In the future theres hope I said she can cope Her dad is in jail I doubt anyone will bail She doesnt need that negativity To put her down She looked at me with a huge frown Tears were streaming down her face I could tell her heart was about to race I gave her a hug And damn she was young She didnt deserve what she went through I wish I could help her more than I did I told her self harm Isnt good but i forgive I said if you need me find a phone And give me a ring She said thanks youre the best I can tell she was blessed Her cousin came over with a frown So intense I said hey whats wrong boy And he said he also self harms an he told me the rest And god it went so far when I saw his scars I nearly broke down And fell on the ground These kids are so young So I made them promise me To try and be full of positivity They pinky promised me To never hurt themselves Or kill themselves They said said theyll remember me By my sensitivity And hope And words And every in between I hope they mean it Every single bit Because god if they are ever gone These young kids I met You can imagine How upset I will get I only met them once But my heart goes out to them For being courageous And strong And live their lives very long These kids are my inspiration My life and heres my invitiation Dont hurt yourself tonight Be strong And goodnight.💕
