Year of Inspiration Day 104: The dream I remember was sort of cool. It was something like a museum and book, combined into one. Each room had props to represent the geography of each chapter. Someone read the chapter, while we all looked through the room. The scenery was made of clay, and it was clearly the striking red rock of Southern Utah. The folks running the museum, making the props and reading the book were the nuns from Call the Midwife. I found the dream to be inspiring. A bit of a Flat Stanley museum trip (with a guide, like Museum of the Mountain West), except in road trip form (the Southwest) with the nun-midwives as tour guides. Ah, I think its time to plan my spring break trip. Inspired by the dream, I am. My day sprung another 15 minutes today - because I finally made my annual wellness exam appointment with my nurse practitioner. I choose to receive my healthcare 60 miles away in Grand Junction. Why? - because I prefer nurse practitioners. I really like wellness focused healthcare and I previously worked for the hospital where she practices. Career-wise, it was one of my most positive work experiences. I trust it more than other options. So, to me, its well worth the drive. But, then again, I am part of the local culture, and yet, I see beyond its struggle. Im inspired to practice better wellness when I trust my practitioner and the system that she practices within. Its Ruby Tuesday. Life revolves to Ruby so quickly. It is like the song - soon Ill be bidding farewell to Ruby, again. Who can hang a name on her? Life moves quickly, find inspiration in its moments.
