Years ago I decided I wanted a change in career, so I went through truck driving school and got my CDL. My plan was to still be a carpenter, but also be a valuable asset with the skills needed to move heavy equipment around and drive ANY commercial/combination vehicle. I am happy to say that I am now living the dream I had envisioned. I am a concrete finisher/form setter, and back up dump truck driver for Concrete Alternatives out of Beaverton Or. I am making decent money and doing something that I always wanted to do, even as a little kid. I am living proof and a shining example for my children that the only limits we have in life are those that we put on oursevles. Go forth, and be good humans!
