Years ago, on two different occasions, a female at a bus stop approached me at my car and asked for a ride. The first one to go see her mom downtown to take some pies she had, etc., and the second to her home, the latter was asking for advice about problems with her bf... What she should do, etc. Both disappeared like that after the got out of my car when I turned to look for them. They could not have entered a building or turned a corner within that time.
