Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement says they will continue the campaign against the deep-rooted corruption in government institutions. In a statement published online, Ansarullah spokesman Mohammad Abdul-Salam said that the sweeping corruption in the country cannot be uprooted overnight. He also congratulated the Yemenis on the triumph of the revolution, calling it a strategic victory for the Yemeni people, who have been demanding political change during demonstrations over the past few months. He also said the agreement that was reached with the government marks the beginning of a new era in Yemen’s history, since the rulers have finally heard the people’s voice.
