Yes.....Ferguson, MO has hit a VERY sensitive bone with me.....You see, I worked everyday with Deputy Rich Herzog. He was on my squad, I sat at every roll call with him and I was working the day he was shot and killed with his OWN weapon. I will NEVER forget that day, where I was and the absolute helplessness I felt. Why couldnt I get there quicker.....WHY??? I backed him on calls and he backed me. He was married and he had children. He retired out of the military to do what? Continue to serve and protect the citizens of King County. I thank GOD that Ofc. Wilson was able to win this fight. Sadly, he will have to live with this and the fallout for the rest of his life. You think this is what Ofc. Wilson wanted??? No, Ofc. Wilson wanted to go home to his family after his shift just like Rich Herzog wanted to do.
