Yes Ive been strolling down memory lane today. In my stroll I found this album on Youtube and I am thrilled! (Lost this one in the divorce too, so its been well over 30 years since I heard this album.) My friend Carla knew that Rod McKuen was my favorite poet (we were all writing poetry then) and she bought it and gave it to me. Ill never forget listening to it at Anitas house (before mom & dad made her pretty blue bedroom) and at the end of the song Amsterdam, her dad popped into the room-as Rod finished the song. Our reaction to him doing that-was a priceless memory. That is part of a you had to be there memory and you have to know how the song ends. ;) Thank you Carla Eves.
