Yes, Master was written for one reason. To tell Ryans story. His voice barrelled through any other thought I was having. He had me holed up in a dark room telling me all about his life. He didnt want me to deviate from the words he was speaking to me. I could have made it lighter but then I wouldnt have stuck to what he wanted the world to know. Ryan comes and visits from time to time to thank me for being so accurate in his story. Hes told me many times he and Stella are happy, and his relationship with Mason hasnt changed. He did ask me, if his upbringing affected me, and I told him what Im about to say to you. How could I sit at my desk and let him tell me the horror his youthful years were, and not let it get to me?
