Yes... There has been so much positive reaction to Johnsons history and sharing...maybe it is time to have another Johnson Homecoming. The last one I believe was the last year the students were in the old school building prior to moving to the new building across the road. Currently the old structure is vacant and/or may be demolished. Wouldnt it be great to return for one last time and share some memories and memorabilia that span over 70+ years! Maybe even have a group photo in front of the old building of all those who Johnson had a part in their lives? I just started talking with an organizational committee today. I have something Id surely like to show to those who attended or have had family attending going back all the way to the 1940s and 1950s. I wont say any more about it...but very few people have seen it. Stay tuned and if this sounds like something youd be interested in attending, please give a shout out. Well need everyones help it get the word out when we have a date finalized. Preferably in warmer weather, but may also depend on a time frame of whatever the FCBOE has in mind to do with the old property. Tentative, most of the meeting would occur at the new school.
