Yes adopt! My 2 cats that I just had put down yesterday were both adopted from an organization from Petsmart 14 years ago. My 2 dogs were both free from craigslist, and my rabbit was adopted from the Humane League. I do believe in saving lives before buying from a breeder! I want to believe that adoptive cats and dogs are happier and more loyal, because they know they were given a second chance to live.
