Yes as a flight attendant I serve drinks to people. But I didnt go to training to learn how to serve drinks. People have no idea what FAs are capable of doing. We are the ones that are going to try to save someones life when they arent breathing and have no pulse. We are the ones that learned how to take down someone that is charging towards the cockpit. We are the ones that are going to evacuate the plane quick! We are the ones that knows how to get a planned land evacuation situated in a timely manner. We are definitely more than just coke servers. If training was about just serving why was I in training for a month? We had drills. If we didnt do those drills perfect we were out! Its super annoying when people treat FAs like they arent capable of anything else and that the job is just an easy job serving drinks all day. NO. There is so much more to the job behind closed doors. I mean our manuals are the size of an encyclopedia! You best believe not one thing in that manual talks about serving drinks to a customer lol!
