Yes its different, yes he dosent scream, yes its not metal and yes i can see the whole album being like this but if you really think about it what does it matter? Experimentation isnt exactly a bad thing and i think they are better musicians for it. I do have that feeling of slight disappointment because it isnt the sound of my favorite band that i have loved for 7 years but within saying that the song isnt bad, Oli proved on sempiternal he can sing, and who knows? this could just be the lightest song on the album? They were going to release can you feel my heart as a single instead of shadow moses until their label decided shadow moses would have been the best option and everyone would have said the same thing about that if it were released first. It just sounds like sleepwalking thats a bit lighter, nothing too new imo. Plus its refreshing to see a band release a tune that dosent have 49724892374892 strings in drop Z with breakdowns making up 100% of the song. Just sayin https://youtube/watch?v=TkV5709EG5M
