Yes, my Outsiders family brothers and sisters...... I couldnt be prouder of our NOMINATIONS at the upcoming Fort Worth Indie Film Showcase! Were excited to screen both of our projects; on top of that, however, Outsiders Productions has NINE - count em - NINE award nominations! The Unusual (Calling of) Charlie Christmas is nominated for Best Feature (Overall), Best Foreign (hilariously referring to films produced outside of Texas), and Best Drama. Kenny Pitts is nominated for Best Actor for his amazing performance as Charlie Christmas and Julia Curry has been nominated as Best Actress for her role as Gracie. They both deserve the recognition. Im also pretty pumped that I was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for my role as Brad. Its awesome to have such hard work be noticed. Were also terribly excited that our web series pilot, Rough Cut, has been nominated as Best Drama. I love this project and I cant wait for it to screen again. I am extremely proud to be nominated for Best Actor for playing Fran and Kenny Pitts is nominated, yet again, for Best Supporting Actor because of his performance as Susie, the angry camera man. This means a couple of things... 1) Were honored to be playing alongside some amazing films and we have some fantastic brothers and sisters up for many of the same nominations. This will be a blast. And Im looking forward to some friendly trash talk with ever-lovin Jason Tostevin and the fantastical James Christopher. I cant wait to catch some projects that Ive yet to see on the circuit. 2) Pack your bags for Fort Worth. Charlie and Rough Cut both play on July 20th. You need to be there. The showcase is at a hotel. If that doesnt seal the deal, I dont know what you need to be happy. I just dont know you anymore. 3) Kenny and I are in competition in two separate categories - Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. There will be fist-fighting if he wins either one. 4) Yes.
