Yes, no, and NOT yet....those are the words of my doctor and therapist on the healing of my shattered arm. The Yes is the arm and rist came together perfect and the physical therapy is progressing better on every visit. The not Yet is the main nerve was wrapped around the fracture and that is why a second physician and a nurse had to be brought in at the time of surgery which was very complex and the doctors say it is a miracle of YES....but the numbness is lingering and may take a year and have to wear the sock everyday and the stiffness is every morning as the muscle was cut by the fracture...in time both should heal but maybe not to perfection making the latter healing NOT YET I am sending this to all of you who are struggling with unanswered prayer--if things are taking awhile for you--keep praying---the answer may be NOT YET.....never up nor ask why....just keep praying around the clock. I love everyone of you who has prayed for me---I still take Tramadol every few days which gets rid of the numbness for six hours....but have to hope for the future and suggested I go fishing to test the left hand which works now. At least 20 interns at iohopkc.org have prayed for me and the numbness went away in the back two fingers---NOT YET and slow but sure in His Timing. God Bless you, Bruce Kessler.
