Its paid for by the beverage industry that has spent millions defeating similar propositions around the country... because we could make a very tiny dent in their profits if this passes. But more importantly, we could be leaders here, to inspire more communities to make soda less affordable, and make a giant dent in their profits. Soda is really unhealthy. So is ice cream.
