Yes, today is my birthday, every note you send is wonderful. My old time favorite line when people express themselves favorably to me, is I dont know if you like me or just feel sorry for me, one thing for certain is your friendship is real. So many of us have been pals forever! Nannie asked me, what you want to do for your birthday? I said get the babies over here, lets have some ribs and tater salad and some cake, some lime sherbert with ginger ale and let them celebrate Paw Paws birthday. Nannie said, you got it. Now all of you you know where to come about 4 oclock. Folks first to say, with the hard lick yesterday about poor Shane, we got a sad wake and funeral and final goobye in the next few days. I know the Wainwrights and Fretwells, and friends of Shane have a hard task ahead. Yall they are smashed deeply! Believe this. This is a birthday fact, we never know. I have lived for 60 years, I am a Citronellean by birth, born in Dr. Thompson office on a friday afternoon, shortly after Daddy got home from work, I was a 8 lbs fat baby. I am kin to everybody, and if not kin, we claim kin, we are all about family. I got 5 sisters that will knock fire from you if you say somethig bad about their brothers, trust this. I have cousins, that are the real thing, no imatation, Maw is the greatest Maw, and Paw was a Daddy from the book of good Daddies. A family unit, a clan, if you know this, say amen! I am a Batesville Pioneer, proud, so proud, I always will be, A pioneer never quits, right yall. I am a member of the Class of 73, goodgodalmighty! YAY! Leslie is my wife and Mother to my children, Savana and Big Jon. Now she is Nannie, and I am Paw Paw! A crown, a victory, a reward untold! I am a Bluegrass man, cant help it, and to close a member of Team USA Master Powerlifter. A complete person , all in the story of my life I celebrate my birthday with all of yall! Goodness gracious its good. !!
