Yeshua HaMashiach bar Joseph of Nazareth “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts of the Apostles 4:12 KJV) In my devotional reading today this is the passage that leapt from off the page. It is a very, very good truth to meditate upon today; it is foundational to salvation; it is this very, exclusive statement that makes, as David would remind us, the heathen rage and the people imagine vain things. (Acts 4:25) It is this statement, along with Yeshua stating in John 14:6: “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me”, that the unbelieving world hates to this very day, this is why they rage, and make a mockery of His name at every opportunity, and believe all the vain philosophies they cling to with gritted teeth despite those philosophies becoming undone piece by brittle piece the more and more they truly examine them; only for them to replace one vain philosophy with another and another and another until it will be too late. Acts 4:12; 4:25 & John 14:6 are foundational salvation truths very much worthy of us mediating upon today. Isn’t the Bible amazing? Isn’t that name above all names, Yeshua HaMashiach of Nazareth, amazing? Praise His wonderful, spirit and soul saving name. Amen & Shalom agd
