Yesterday, Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai showed their support for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) research by taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge after being nominated by Ski Dubai. 350 people including Chefs, Lifeguards and Senior Management of the resort gathered on the Royal Beach with guests, armed with buckets off ice water. Before embarking, Gerard Moss, Senior Vice President of Human Resources stated “Thank you Ski Dubai for nominating us for the ALS ice bucket challenge. I’m happy to accept it and support the good cause. But I am not alone – here at Atlantis we are one team and everyone wants to get involved.” He then continued, challenging Emirates Airlines, Buckingham Palace and Football Club Bayern Munich.
