Yesterday Bailey and I started our volunteer work. We were there about an hour and when we got home he was exhausted! All he did was sleep the rest of the day! He was VERY good at Lakeview! It was a very good experience but two things really stick out to me. The first patient that we greeted was laying in bed and she asked if Bailey could visit her in bed. Well he jumped right up there and commenced to cuddling with her! The second was when we visted a woman with dementia and she never said a word to us until I bent over and scooped Bailey up to her in her wheelchair. She looked at his name tag and said Bailey and smiled. Went right to my heart! I miss my parents every single day and I cant visit them, so I will visit someone else parents!
