Yesterday, Bree Richie and I were so fortunate to have some time with the beautiful, talented, Britt Nichols. Britt is on the World Surfing Tour and has had a similiar path to Bree! Her determination, courage and tenacity is absolutely amazing and second to none! We are going to working with her with many things... ie the Inflatable Rashies from First Aid Yucan2 Productswith Surfing as well as also creating awareness for their conditions and the roads they have had to take, in an attempt to raise valuable funding to help come up with a cure for this and many other silent diseases! These two girls are absolutely amazing and have not allow their conditions to affect or rule their lives! 3 weeks after surgery, Bree was on the beach at Burleigh on Patrol, ensuring everyone was safe, tried out for Top Division Basketball representing the Gold Coast, whilst terribly sick, is currently doing 80% of her School Subjects in Chinese and is still a Middle School Leader at her awesome School, Varsity College Secondary School and doing well at School! Cannot wait to see just what these girls can achieve together on their way to coming up with a cure! They both constantly inspire me and I am proud to be called, Brees Mum! xx
