Yesterday GOD showed me his grace and mercy. My son Gabe called me, then text me, to let me know he had been in a car accident. At the time the message arrived I was sitting inside a Church for a Funeral. I jumped up ran to my car and sped to the scene. All kinds of things going through my mind. First was believing he was ok. Next was finding out who did it. When I arrived I first seen a car with damage to front end in middle of the road. However I didnt see my son or his car. Then I saw him. GOD answered my prayers, he was alive and standing. I went to check on him. Next was to find out what happen and who was at fault. The first thing that crossed my mind was it was a drunk driver. I approached an area of people asking, No demanding the driver reveal themselves. No one responded. I asked about three times while getting louder and louder. All I got was it was an accident and dont holler at my Mom. I was so FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!! GOD revealed to me how important my son(s) are too me. I think Im usually a calm man not easily angered. However when it comes to my children. Something clicks inside at the possibility of danger to them. I was so happy to be in the house with him as he continued on his night. Thank You GOD for allowing my child to survive and walk away from that accident. I LOVE YOU GOD! Thank you to his Teammate Rigby for staying on the scene with him and John and Isaiah for accompanying us to the Hospital. Those are real friends and I appreciate you guys so much.
