Yesterday, I finally joined the living again, at least thats what I felt like. My feet are still killing me, but, there is some improvement with Silvadene, I had left over from 2011 when I had radiation burns. Garrett is working his last week at TP Outdoors before he heads to LSU on the 15th. The other kids & I went to get a few things for school Saturday (very short lived-had to get Meredith to drive the car to pick me up on the sidewalk..good thing shes starting drivers ed in the morning -wink ;) ) then we ventured out again for church today. Hopefully, by next week, my body will be functioning better. I really try to not say anything negative, but not being able to exercise & enjoy life (Im very physical so my feet are everything to me), I cant help but say it, CANCER SUCKS!! So, does chemo...so many out there can relate. Im just so fortunate to have a good, well great support system. I know I said that many times, but its true! Without God & the others that work thru Him...hmmm Many thanks for all the people who have helped & are helping. My family & I do not take a single thing for granted, because Lord know, our state doesnt help out. The system isnt really set up to help people who have worked their entire lives & paid lots of taxes, etc. So, thank you for your prayers, kind words & many blessings to everyone this week as vacations wind down and kids get prepared for the upcoming school year!
